Malwares – Malicious Software designed to hijack one’s device and expose the device to various attack
Recently there were series of attacks to different organization including the Govt. organization. Earlier we used to think that virus are dangerous to our computers but now they come in different forms. One of them is Malware.
So by wiki, it means malicious programs or MALicious softWARE in short MALWARE.
These programs will look like very similar to other programs and once they are into your system, they will start acting up releasing virus, worms etc. They even can send instruction to the actual users taking control on the whole computer.
The dangerous one is called Ransomware. These software once loaded in your system will encrypt your whole system and then ask you money to decrypt it. It is like, you invite a person and that person throw you out of your house and locks the door. To unlock the door and enter your own house, you need to pay money. That’s unethical right? I know but it is you who has given them permission to come into your house.
You must be thinking why are you paying for your antivirus. Well your antivirus can block them to a point until you allow them and authorize those software.

Currently, there are so many attacks happened over the last few days. Major companies in Europe has suffered a loss. Last time WannaCry a Ransomware which attacked the Hospital creating a chaos, many patient denied surgery and many were denied medicines just because the system screw up. Even worse the ambulance went to different hospitals.
This time the ransomware Petya attacked the Chernobyl nuclear reactor making it go manual mode. This is really crazy and bit scary.
The whole web has become so deceptive mainly because everything is so online. Now from booking your cab to dine out at night everything can be organized online.
